Herbal MediceineOne recipe was for scars that were less than a year old and the other was for scars that were older than a year and perhaps keloid (medically defined as cellular hypertrophy). My friend had undergone open-heart surgery three years earlier. Her post-surgical chest wound was long, tight, painful, and red with a shiny keloid scar. She asked her doctor what could be done to remove the scar and he offered her the only option he had – plastic surgery. She elected not to have more surgery. I asked her if she would be willing to try this cream out and when she said yes, I made my first batch of scar creams. She used the cream for old scars and had a great response – her keloid scar softened and eventually disappeared. She is now virtually scar-free! I have heard many other success stories from satisfied users of both creams. The old scar cream has been useful for removing acne scars and age spots as well as keloid scars. The new scar cream has been useful in removing all traces of a biopsy or other surgical wounds as well as preventing cuts and abrasions from leaving any scar. I make the creams from Chinese herbs and organic olive oil, slow cooking them for 2 – 3 days. Then I strain the oil, add Vitamin E to improve their shelf life and organic beeswax to change the oil to a salve. To use, you apply the cream to the scar 2 to 3 times a day. |
